architecture in helsinki

outside of all this mess and political masturbation i am trying hard to relax myself…few days ago, when german-polish workshop of journalism was finished succesfully, one girl from german radio called mephisto gave me a cd…she gave me an idea too. it was architecture in helsinki. cool, fresh stuff for shattered souls in anxious times. aih is a kind of indie-pop music, similar with the arcade fire or broken social scene.

“it can be easy to label aih ‘twee indie-pop’, but that’s missing the point. the music is celebratory and honest, almost a reaction to both the actue individualism of djs and laptop warriors, as well as the melancholic conceits of shoegazer guitar bands. these guys know how to rock out, and they want you to have fun while they do it.”

    no to mnie zainteresowałaś, bop mimo iż nazwa obiła mi się o uszy, to jednak muzyki nie miałem sposobności dopaść a teraz trza się sprężyć. :)
